Robin Thicke and Pharrell’s ‘Blurred Lines’ Song Ruled a Rip-Off

    image

Womp womp. Pharrell and Robin Thicke lost big time in court, with a jury ruling the song was clearly a rip-off of Marvin Gaye’s hit, ‘Got to Give it Up.’ Pharrell’s rep says the song was “created from his heart, mind and soul and the song was not taken from anyone or anywhere else.”

Robin and the song’s producer Pharrell Williams must now pay $7.3 million to Marvin’s family after the jury ruled it a copyright violation. Looks like an appeal will be coming!

T.I., who raps on the song,is off the hook at least.
