We wish this was surprising.
Mariah Carey was slated to have a funny guest appearance in the new Will Ferrell movie “The House.” However, it appears her diva antics led to ‘borderline abusive’ behavior on set, and production cut her cameo from the film all together. She was such a pain in the butt to work with, they couldn’t even get the scene shot.
As we know, Mariah likes to make demands. Apparently, they had it with her showing up late and demanding all sorts of ridiculous things. Mariah, you are not the director. Please just sit down already.
“She eventually did show up. There were suggestions that were not executed. She was on our set and yeah, things happened, and didn’t happen,” he said during an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Tuesday night. “She did not make the final cut.”
Fellow actor Rob Huebel also dished on Mariah’s behavior, saying she showed up “four hours late” to the set, asked for her trailer to be stocked with “all white roses” and stuffed animals, before asking for changes be made to edit the song she was hired to perform. This was only a slice of the goodness she brought to set.
