Just on the heels of Kelly Osbourne quitting the show, Kathy Griffin has also decided that she has had enough. She let everyone know via Twitter, saying “I discovered that my style does not fit with the creative direction of the show & now it’s time to move on.”
“I wish E! and the E! team only the best and I hope to continue to make you all laugh performing live or on television where I can be smart, irreverent, unrepentant and unafraid in an observational way that is candid, honest and unjustified,” she wrote.
Griffin, 54, says that she does not “want to use my comedy to contribute to a culture of unattainable perfectionism and intolerance towards difference.” Basically, she’s not looking to be the queen of mean and turn into Joan Rivers.
Oh no! The show is pretty much screwed now unless they can find some awesome and hilarious talent, because lord knows snorin’ borin’ Giuliana Rancic can’t entertain anyone.
