He says he’s being made into a TV and real life super villain!
Since filming of ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ was shut down over allegations of misconduct between Demario Jackson and Corinne Olympios, Jackson has been left defending himself against accusations that he took advantage of Olympios.
Let’s recap. The two got super wasted together throughout filming on the first day, and they eventually got frisky in a pool that included a lot of sexual activity captured on film. Head to day 2, and a producer voiced concern and quit the show over the incident. The whole thing was captured on video, and Jackson wants the tape released as Olympios has since claimed she doesn’t remember a thing and is a “victim.” However, those present during the whole thing say she was VERY lucid and with it the whole time.
Jackson has released a statement saying “It’s unfortunate that my character and family name has been assassinated this past week with false claims and malicious allegations,” and he is no predator. “I will be taking swift and appropriate legal action until my name is cleared and, per the advice of legal counsel, will be seeking all available remedies entitled to me under the laws,” Jackson’s statement continued.
Olympios released her own statement, saying “Although I have little memory of that night, something bad obviously took place, which I understand is why production on the show has now been suspended and a producer on the show has filed a complaint against the production.” She continued that she hopes what happened “comes to light and I can continue my life, including hiring an attorney to obtain justice and seeking therapy to begin dealing with the physical and emotional trauma stemming from that evening.”
For now, the network continues to investigate the incident.
